For site owners & bloggers

Embed our mortgage calculator — free

A real, working calculator for your readers — not a screenshot or a link. Copy one line, paste it into your page, done.

Why embed instead of linking?

A link sends your reader away. An embedded calculator lets them get their answer without leaving your page — which is a better experience for them and keeps them on your site longer. This is the same mortgage calculator that lives on TidyCalcs, just sized to drop into a sidebar or inside a post.

It's free to use, there's no signup, no iframe ads, and it doesn't share any data with us beyond standard page analytics — the calculation happens entirely in the visitor's browser.

The code

Paste this wherever you want the calculator to appear:

<iframe src="https://www.tidycalcs.com/mortgage-calculator-widget/" width="100%" height="640" style="max-width:480px;border:none;" title="Mortgage Payment Calculator by TidyCalcs" loading="lazy"></iframe>

The only ask

The widget includes a small "Calculator by TidyCalcs" credit line underneath the results, linking back to our full mortgage calculator page. Please leave it in place — that's the only thing that makes this worth offering for free. Beyond that, style your page around it however you like; the widget's background is transparent and it adapts to light or dark surroundings.

A few practical notes

  • Width: the widget caps out at 480px wide and centers itself, so it works well in a sidebar, a content column, or a dedicated "tools" page.
  • Height: 640px comfortably fits the calculator plus a calculated result. If your layout clips the bottom, bump it to 720px.
  • Mobile: set the iframe's own width to 100% (as in the snippet above) and it will shrink to fit narrow screens.
  • Updates: the widget is served live from TidyCalcs, so if we improve it, your embed updates automatically — nothing to re-copy.

Want a different calculator embedded?

Right now the mortgage calculator is the only one packaged as a standalone widget. If a debt payoff, BMI, or other TidyCalcs calculator would be useful on your site, let us know — happy to consider building one.
